Shining a spotlight on unsung carers

Brief

With more than 6 million unpaid carers living in the UK, British Gas, a sponsor of Carers UK, wanted to shine a light on those unsung heroes who look after a loved one. A highly emotional set of online films shows the stark contrast between how a carer really feels and how their friends and family think they’re feeling.

In the film, part of British Gas’ ‘Share That You Care’ campaign, four unpaid carers and their closest friends are interviewed in a split-screen format to highlight the difference in how they perceive themselves and how they present themselves on the outside.
